Dear Senator, Winter 2011
Our diverse and vibrant faith traditions all call us to be good stewards of creation by using energy wisely. For the sake of all those with whom we share this earth, and to leave a livable word for future generations, we urge you to take the lead in getting Congress to pass strong legislation to curb global warming. Until Congress takes that action, we are counting on you to assure that the Environmental Protection Agency keeps its authority to regulate global warming emissions and the toxic pollutants that result from the burning of fossil fuels.
Please protect EPA’s authority and help us transition to a clean energy economy. |
